KD 450 one time, covering design, build and launch. Hosting, server setup and the email accounts are included for the first year. After that, hosting renews at KD 25 per year. Your domain name is registered and billed separately.
Typically 10 to 15 working days from the day we receive your content and approvals.
Support covers the website, the hosting and the email accounts we set up for you. That includes the site being unreachable, email not sending or receiving, an SSL certificate needing renewal, a plugin update that has broken a page, and questions about how to edit your own content.
Support is reached by email and by WhatsApp on +965 6553 4477, Sunday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm (9am to 3pm during Ramadan). We aim to reply within one working day. A dedicated telephone support line comes with the Premium and Professional packages; if something is genuinely urgent on Basic you are still welcome to call the office, but WhatsApp reaches us fastest.
Support does not include new design work, new pages or new features; those are quoted as a separate change request.
Fifteen days, no questions asked
If you are not satisfied with your package within fifteen days, tell us and we will refund you. We will not ask you to justify the decision, and we will not try to talk you out of it.
When the window starts
The fifteen days run from the date you pay for the package.
How to ask
Send one message. Call +965 257 11 249, message WhatsApp on +965 6553 4477, or email us. Say that you want a refund under the 15-day policy. No form, no reason required, no approval process.
How you are paid back
We refund the full package fee by the same method you paid with. We confirm in writing once the refund is sent, and it reaches you within 10 working days — usually sooner, though the final step depends on your bank rather than us.
What happens afterwards
Once a refund is issued the service stops. Your website is taken offline, and the hosting, server setup and email accounts included in the package are closed. Before we do that we give you your content as a ZIP archive — the text, images, uploaded files and any enquiries collected — so nothing you have written is lost. We keep the site and mailboxes intact for 14 days after the refund before deleting anything, so there is time to retrieve anything missed.
Your domain name
A domain name is registered in your name and is yours regardless of the refund. If we registered it for you, its registration fee is separate from the package fee and is not refundable, because it has already been paid to the registrar. We will transfer the domain to you or to another provider at your request.
One clarification, not a condition
The refund covers the package fee. Third-party costs already paid out on your instruction — a domain registration, a premium plugin or template licence, advertising spend — cannot be recovered once spent, so they sit outside the refund. Nothing else is excluded.
1. About us
These terms apply to the Basic, Premium and Professional website packages supplied by Kuwait Website Design, trading as DATA, of Dasman Complex, Floor 8, Office 9, Street 142, Block 4, Sharq, Kuwait. We have been building and hosting websites in Kuwait since January 2007.
2. Scope of work
Your package covers the features listed on its page and anything else recorded in writing before work begins. We agree the site structure and the design direction with you at the start, and that agreement is the scope.
Each package includes a set number of pages: 5 pages on Basic, 10 on Premium and 20 on Professional. A page means a distinct page of the site with its own content — a home page, an about page, a service page. Repeating items that share one layout, such as blog posts, portfolio items or job listings, are not counted individually; the template that displays them counts as one page. Pages beyond your package's allowance are quoted as a change request before any work starts.
3. Change requests
During the build you get two rounds of revision on the design. Anything beyond the agreed scope — extra pages, a new section, a different design direction after approval, a feature not on the package list, or integration with another system — is a change request. We quote it in writing and start only once you accept. We will always tell you before work becomes chargeable; you will not receive an unexpected invoice.
4. Payment
Reserving a package on this site does not charge you anything. It starts a conversation: we confirm the scope with you, then issue an invoice. Nothing is due until you have agreed what you are buying.
Package prices are one-time fees in Kuwaiti Dinar, payable in full before work begins. Accepted payment methods are confirmed on your invoice. Prices exclude your domain name and any third-party licence or subscription a requested feature requires.
Hosting is included for the first year. After that it renews annually at KD 25 for Basic, KD 35 for Premium and KD 50 for Professional. We will invoice you before each renewal; if you choose not to renew, the site and its mailboxes are closed.
5. What we need from you
The timeline depends on you as much as on us. You supply the text, logo, images and any brand guidelines, and you nominate one person who can give approvals. Where we need access to an existing site, domain registrar or third-party account, you provide it. If content or approvals are delayed, the delivery date moves by the same amount. If we hear nothing from you for 60 days, we will close the project and any restart is re-quoted at the prices current at that time; work already completed remains chargeable.
6. Hosting and the SaaS nature of the package
These are Software as a Service packages. The website, the hosting, the server setup, the platform updates and the backups are supplied and maintained by us as one service, on our servers in Kuwait. The package is not a one-off file delivery; it is a running service we keep working.
The one-time package fee includes the first year of that service. Thereafter it renews annually at the rate for your package — KD 25 for Basic, KD 35 for Premium, KD 50 for Professional.
7. Ownership
Your content — your text, images, logo and the data in the site — is yours throughout and always was. The design produced for your site, and the site itself, are yours to use for your business. Underlying platforms, third-party components and any reusable code, framework or tooling of ours remain the property of their respective owners and of us. We may show your site in our portfolio and name you as a client unless you ask us in writing not to.
If you leave the service, your content comes with you: on request we provide a ZIP archive of your content — pages, text, images, uploaded files and any form submissions. What the archive does not include is the running platform itself: the hosting configuration, the server setup and the licensed components that make it a managed service. Those are the service you were subscribing to, not a deliverable.
8. Third-party services
Some elements rely on services operated by others — the platform itself, your domain registrar, mapping, analytics, payment or email delivery providers. Those services are governed by their own terms and pricing, which can change without our involvement. We will tell you when a feature depends on one. We are not responsible for a third party changing its terms, price or availability.
9. Cancellation
You may cancel within fifteen days under the refund policy below. After that period, work already completed is chargeable and any remaining balance falls due. Either side may end the ongoing hosting and support service by giving written notice. Either side needs to give 30 days' written notice. On exit we provide your content as a ZIP archive, as described in clause 7.
10. Availability and liability
We monitor and maintain the servers and will restore service as quickly as we reasonably can, but no hosting service anywhere is uninterrupted, and we do not guarantee a specific level of availability. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect loss. Our total liability in connection with a package is limited to the fee you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Security and backups
We apply CMS updates and take backups on the schedule in your package. Backups are kept away from the live server. We cannot guarantee that any website is immune from attack, and where a site is compromised through credentials shared or lost on your side, restoring it may be chargeable.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait, and the courts of Kuwait have jurisdiction over any dispute. We would always rather resolve a problem by talking to you first — call +965 257 11 249.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published on kwd.com.co when you place your order is the version that applies to it.
